SARASOTA, Fla.–Sunovia Energy Technologies, Inc. (NASD OTC Bulletin Board: SUNV) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to provide LED lighting solutions to The Varon Group. The Volume Purchase Agreement calls for Sunovia to develop LED lighting components and products for the companies of the Varon Group, including Beacon Products and Precision Lighting. Sunovia will deliver the initial 2,000 units in July 2008.
Sunovia’s systems integration and engineering teams completed the development of the initial EvoLuciaTM LED lighting products earlier this year, and formally presented the units to the lighting industry during the Light Fair Conference in Las Vegas in May, 2008. Sunovia is currently working to complete additional LED integrations, and expects to have them available to the market during the third quarter of 2008.
“The companies of the Varon Group have earned a reputation of providing world-class lighting products to their customers, and it is now our responsibility to assist in the perpetuation of this well deserved distinction,” stated Bob Fugerer, president and CTO of Sunovia. “I believe that this agreement is a validation of our technical designs and is a key step in our goal to become a primary systems integrator and components provider to the global LED lighting markets,” added Fugerer.
