Solid-State Lighting Technologies

Light-emitting diodes are semiconductors which produce light more efficiently than most traditional light sources and are the enabling component of Sunovia’s EvoLucia^TM solid-state lighting products. Sunovia is developing proprietary zinc oxide (ZnO)-based LEDs, and plans to integrate the ZnO LEDs into its EvoLucia™ product line once the new components meet or exceed our stringent quality and life expectancy demands.

Solid-State Lighting Synthesis and Systems

Sunovia’s EvoLucia^TM technology integrates a total system solution including the thermal management of the LEDs, power conversion, electro-optical and mechanical designs and techniques. This enables energy-efficient and cost-effective lighting solutions that synthesize light patterns by strategically directing the LED light with optics and reflectors using a proprietary design process that optimizes light utilization.
